What Skins, Items & Features Can we Expect to See During Fortnitemares

While Epic has been cagey about what Fortnitemares means for the game, here's what we expect to see based on teasers and leaks.

Ghoul Trooper returns: The Ghoul Trooper skin was featured during last year's Fortnitemares and will presumably be available again for a limited time. A teaser posted on Saturday foreshadowed the skin's revival.

A Revolver weapon: Epic also posted another teaser on Monday to highlight the possible debut of a gun that looks to be some kind of revolver.

Pumpkin Launcher: Epic Games Design Lead Eric Williamson tweeted "thoomp heheheh... WAAAH" Monday evening, which many fans believe is a tease for the Pumpkin Launcher's return. The limited weapon made that sound during Fortnitemares last year, so it'd make sense for it to come back.

Map changes: As cubes fill the floating island, it would appear major map changes are in store. We'll likely learn more about those once the update is live, but Tomato Temple appears to be a target for crazy things.

Glider redeployment: While not necessarily a part of Fortnitemares, Epic has revealed that players will be able to redeploy their gliders in all modes when jumping from three stories or more for at least a week. That's such a nerf to fall damage that it's actually scary.

There will probably be more creepy skins available during the event, but these are the ones we know based on recent leaks. Don't forget to check out the other unsettling scarecrow and vampire designs currently available in the Item Shop as well.

Fortnite is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC and mobile. Fortnitemares runs Oct. 24 through Nov. 26.
