'Fortnite' Patch 6.10 Leaked Skins: Spiders and Guan Yu

Today's Fortnite patch continues the trend of spooky-scary monsters seeking out a Victory Royale. Patch V6.10 adds more content to Season 6, including the new buggy Quadcrasher, in-game tournaments and new items for Save the World. There are also four new skins for fans of spiders, slumber parties and ancient Chinese lore.

Arachne brings Widowmaker from Overwatch into Fortnite . She might not have her classic sniper rifle or purple onesie, but those eight-eyed goggles belong to our favorite Talon agent. She even has the same deadly grey skin every Overwatch noob thinks is "super OP." Traveling with her on her journey is the Spider Knight, not to be confused with the Spyder-Knight from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon show. He's a cross between an old-school lich king and a creepy crawly, which makes for an excellent combination.

Two Epic Buddies, who comb through the files after every patch to find the skins hidden in Fortnite , are back at it again this week. Here's a really good look at the new gliders coming in this patch, including a whole Chinese rowboat that doesn't seem like it would be very aerodynamic.

The oddest skin of the bunch has to be Guan Yu, who's made a few appearances in other games like Smite and League of Legends (as Warring Kingdoms Tryndamere). A general serving under warlord Liu Bei, Guan Yu became a mythical figure in China thanks to his work establishing a state in the Three Kingdoms period. He's become extremely popular; like Wukong, he is immediately recognizable to a Chinese audience. With Fortnite 's tremendous success in China, it makes sense that Epic Games would tailor skins to that market.
