Fortnite update 3.6 has just arrived, and data miners have already torn it apart to reveal some new skins and cosmetics set to release over the next few weeks. Straight from the Storm Shield One cosmetic database, here are the latest goodies you'll soon be able to unlock.
OUTFITS
Steelsight [Epic] - Victory Demands nerves of steel.
Brite Gunner [Epic] - Look On The Bright Side. Part of the "Sunshine and Rainbows" set.
BACKPACK
Steelcast [Epic] - Precision Welded
PICKAXE
Global Axe [Epic] - Think Globally, axe locally.
EMOTE
Squat Kick - Don't skip leg day.
A release date for these skins and cosmetics has not been announced, but we expect them to be available soon. With that in mind, they offer potential hints about the theme behind the upcoming fourth season of Battle Royale content. The earthly Pickaxe design has especially given rise to suspicion that the next crop of Battle Pass goodies may have something to do with alien lifeforms. Since Season 3 was all about space, it doesn't seem like much of a stretch to assume that concept could be taken even further into Season 4.
In case you missed the news, data miners and players alike have found some rather suspicious Meteorite references in today's update as well. From flyers around Tilted Towers to file-based callbacks to a new limited-time mode, current community speculation suggests the big floating rock might crash down as soon as tomorrow. Fortnite's 3.6 update was largely advertised as a quality-of-life patch, but there's lots of cool stuff hidden underneath its dozens of bug fixes.
Fortnite is in early access across PS4, Xbox One, PC and iOS.
