Woman Applies Lipstick to Her Entire Face, Result Is Not What You'd Imagine

Makeup can be expensive, and the cost of a full bag of different products quickly adds up, which is why it's always great to have some multi-use pieces within your kit.

We've all used a eyeliner as a brow pencil in a pinch, or dabbed on a bit of shimmery eye shadow in place of highlighter, but would you be willing to ditch half of your products in place of lipstick?

It turns out that the product may have more uses than we first thought, and can even be used in place of blush, bronzer and even eye shadow.

To demonstrate the versatility of the product, first believed to have been used around 5,000 years ago, content creator @isaployy shared a tutorial to TikTok.

The video, which has garnered over 8.7 million views and 760,000 likes, sees her use a dusty rose lipstick to create a subtle sun-kissed makeup look with a single product.

Beginning with her nose, she uses the lipstick bullet to contour the bridge and tip for a button nose effect.

Next, the same lipstick is applied across the eyelid and around the lower lash line to add color and depth in place of eye shadow.

The lipstick is then used where we would expect to see a bronzer or blush applied across the temples and cheekbones.

She finishes by using the same color in place of lip liner to slightly overline, as well as to define her chin, creating an "X" shape with the pink product.

When it comes to blending out the product, she selects a miniature powder puff to softly disperse the product, resulting in a soft and subtle natural look, perfect for day-to-day wear.

What Do the Comments Say?

The comments section showed that viewers were excited to try the unconventional application technique, as one said, "The makeup looks great."

Another added, "This actually looks so good, I did it already."

"This is when you actually trust the process so pretty omg," added a third.

Some weren't convinced they could pull it off, as one said, "Looks great on you, I guess I would just turn out pink."

Others who had tried the trend for themselves shared their own experiences, with fairly different results, as one said, "I did that n my crush asked me if I got punched in my face."

"I did this and my classmates thought I was crying in the bathroom," added another TikTok user.
