Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days' Time

The movie will be based on the popular anime series, and Funimation announced the cast and crew from Seasons 1 and 2 will return to the home video release of Assassination Classroom the Movie: 365 Days' Time. The movie will be released on July 3.

Here's the official synopsis:

"The killer class is back in session—sort of. Relive every moment that made you laugh, cry, and kept you on the edge through the eyes of the top two students: Nagisa and Karma. Reminisce with them about the time spent in Class 3-E from the moment Koro Sensei appeared to his final moments. This is a look back at the adventures of being assassins in training!"

Garo: Divine Flame

Another film based on a popular anime, Garo: Divine Flame is coming to homes in 2018. It will be released later this year, but Funimation didn't have any other details as of press time.

Garo: Divine Flame is based on the 2014 anime Garo: The Animation and takes place four years after the events of the first season.

Code Geass Movie Trilogy/Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2

Funimation announced the acquisition of the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion movie trilogy and the home release for the second season of Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. Again, Funimation didn't have specifics but at least confirmed Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 2 will be available in summer 2018.

Those who attend Anime Boston can get more information from the Sunshine panel on March 30. We will update this story once that panel concludes.
