The royal family is gearing up for another wedding. Buckingham Palace announced Lady Gabriella Windsor, the daughter of Queen Elizabeth's cousin Prince Michael of Kent, is engaged to Thomas Kingston on Wednesday. Gabriella shares the same great-grandparents as Prince Charles, King George V and Queen Mary.

The palace said Kingston popped the question to Windsor a month ago while the couple was visiting Sark, one of the Channel Islands located off the coast of France. The duo is set to wed sometime in the spring of 2019—just a year after Elizabeth's grandson Prince Harry tied the knot with his wife Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex.

Known as "Ella" to her friends and family members, Windsor is the 51st in line to the throne after her father, big brother Lord Frederick Windsor and his two daughters Maud and Isabella Windsor.

Despite being one of the lesser known royals, Gabriella Windsor has often made appearances on Buckingham Palace's famous balcony along with the rest of her imperial family members. She's regularly spotted standing with the family on the balcony for the annual Trooping the Colour, a parade celebrating the monarch's birthday.

In addition to contributing to London Magazine as a writer, Gabriella Windsor serves as the Senior Director at Branding Latin America, a brand-positioning and digital communications firm specializing in business and promotion interests between Latin American and the U.K. Her fiancé Kingston works as the Director of Devonport Capital, a market investment firm.

Kingston was somewhat connected to the royal family before his engagement to Gabriella Windsor. He previously dated Pippa Middleton, the sister of Prince William's wife, Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge, according to People magazine. Kingston and Gabriella Windsor attended Pippa Middleton's wedding as a couple in 2017.

Before Gabriella Windsor and her husband-to-be marry, the second royal wedding of the year will occur in October when Princess Eugenie marries her fiancé Jack Brooksbank. The couple is expected to exchange vows at St. George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle, which is the same location Harry and Markle said "I do" at during their royal wedding in May.
