We have waited 595 days (we counted) for the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones. The season will premiere on April 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
As fans are no doubt preparing their viewing parties with the help of Newsweek's guides on Game of Thrones themed food and snacks, and some special GoT cocktails, we have now found our favourite themed merchandise that every fan must get their hands on.
A man needs to eat
To celebrate the launch of its national menu collaboration, the official Dragonstone Throne is popping up for one day only at the West Village Shake Shack in New York City. The West Village Shack will be serving up both the limited-edition Dracarys Burger plus the Dragonglass Shake, while supplies last.
The Dracarys Burger (Drakaro Parkliapos in Valarien) features a double Monterey Jack cheeseburger. It is rumored to have been griddled by the fires of Drogon and Rhaegal. It's topped with a fiery ShackSauce and bacon (apparently a Dothraki delicacy).
The Dragonglass Shake (Zīrtom Perzomy Rholītsos) is made up of frozen custard and topped with shards of "Dragonglass."
Become a Master of Cookies
It's time to pledge your allegiance! Oreo has designed four limited edition cookies with the sigils of each of the major players in the final season of Game of Thrones. Are you House Lannister, House Stark, House Targaryen or the Night King?
A can has no name
Mountain Dew created a limited edition drink which shows the characters on Arya Stark's hit list—alive or fallen. Fans had to tell the beverage company on social media what they would sacrifice to get one of the limited edition cans.
Can I have a White Walker on the rocks, please?
Diageo and HBO released their limited-edition collection of Single Malt Scotch Whiskies in February. The collection features eight scotch whiskies, each paired with one of the iconic Houses of Westeros, as well as the Night's Watch, giving fans an authentic taste of the Seven Kingdoms and beyond. It joins the White Walker bottle which was launched in October 2018.
The night is no longer full of terrors
Not just restricted to the food and beverage industry, The Lumineers are one the many artists featured on For The Throne, the upcoming album featuring songs inspired by Game of Thrones.
The song is called "Nighshade," and is being made available today (Friday, April 12). For The Throne also features songs from Muse's Matt Bellamy, Mumford & Sons, X Ambassadors, The National, and others. The full album arrives April 26.
Montegrappa's Iron Throne
The luxury goods market has also paid homage to the series. According to its website, Montegrappa has released a Game of Thrones fountain pen, made of two-tone precious metal, fashioned with the lost-wax casting technique in solid 18K gold, and further enriched with black and white celluloid details. It will set you back a bit though; € 3,900 ($4,414).
One website is listing the pen for £41,075 ($53,833); we'd suggest that only die-hard fans spend this much.
