The hits just keep on coming for Jose Mourinho from his old Chelsea players.
Fresh from comments by Eden Hazard suggesting that Mourinho failed to inspire Chelsea's players because he was never a top-class footballer himself, Gary Cahill appeared to take a shot at the Manchester United manager.
"We needed organization," Cahill said. "We went from winning the league to the disaster of last season. We lost our way tactically, everyone's head was in different directions.
"Everyone had different situations going on, whether you're playing or not, the manager, or this or that. Different distractions are never healthy."
Mourinho left Chelsea in December, with the club already out of the race to defend its English Premier League title.
He then spent the spring flirting with United, before finally being confirmed as the club's manager at the end of May.
And like Chelsea, United has a perfect record in the Premier League so far this season, with three victories in three games.
Mourinho has more pressing problems than criticism from his ex players, though, as he prepares to face bitter rival Pep Guardiola for the first time in English football in the Manchester Derby on Saturday.
