A video of a husband's reaction at a gender-reveal party for his baby has gone viral on TikTok.
The clip was posted by Rita (@ritasteffes) and has had more than 1 million views since it was first shared on October 14.

Gender-reveal parties see expectant parents either unveil or learn the sex of their unborn child through a display of items typically themed around either pink (for a girl) or blue (for a boy) colors, such as balloons or even a cake, as seen in the viral clip.
The husband in the video is in tears when the baby's gender is revealed after the couple cut into the cake. A caption shared with the post reads: "Someone sue my husband for having the best reactions."
The expectant father's reaction at the gender reveal event comes as no surprise. More than 80 percent of fathers were reported to be "pleased" or "overjoyed" in response to their partner's pregnancy in a U.K. study published in March 2013 in BMC Pregnancy and Childbirth.
A May 2021 study in the Infant Mental Health Journal found that "supportive father involvement during pregnancy can positively impact maternal and child outcomes."
In a study published in the November-December 2015 issue of MCN: The American Journal of Maternal/Child Nursing, 80 percent of women said that the father of their baby was involved during their pregnancy.
The study, conducted among African American women, found that, compared with expectant moms who reported "no father involvement during pregnancy," those who reported partner involvement "had lower levels of depressive symptoms and higher levels of psychological well-being."
The footage in the viral video shows a couple holding an empty wine glass upside down over a cake. They then press the glass down into the cake and hold it up, which was filled with a blue-colored chunk of the dessert.
The man is seen visibly moved to tears just seconds after the reveal while his wife holds up the glass. The couple are seen embracing as the clip ends.
Several TikTok users were touched by the man's reaction in the latest video.
S.T wrote, "Awe the way it hit him! congrats!" and user @amor.fati.k posted, "He's so full of love."
Andrade96 noted: "The man's expression says he will be a good father...Congratulations guys."
Melb agreed, writing, "You can already tell he's gonna be a great dad. Congratulations."
User @alana_mccullough18 wrote: "i can just tell y'all are gonna be the most loving parents."
