Rudy Giuliani Blew Kisses at Donald Trump Protesters Screaming 'F*** You'

Rudy Giuliani, a personal lawyer for President Donald Trump, reportedly blew kisses and snapped pictures Wednesday as protesters yelled abuse outside a New York hotel where Trump held a fundraiser.

The group of about 100 protesters lobbed curses and insults at Giuliani, who showed up along the protest line near the Lotte New York Palace Hotel during Trump's visit in midtown Manhattan, according to Gothamist.

Giuliani was met with screams of "F*** you!" and other protestors reportedly yelling "Tell the truth about 9/11!" The former federal prosecutor also served as New York's mayor and gained national recognition for his work in the aftermath of the 2001 terrorist attacks on the city's former World Trade Center.

As he walked up to the protesters, Giuliani blew kisses at the crowd and took some photos with his iPhone while he was being verbally berated.

It's unclear if Giuliani was at the hotel to attend the same fundraiser as his client, but his appearance came following another reversal of his position over whether Trump should agree to an interview with the special counsel's office investigating Russia's meddling in the 2016 election.

Giuliani, who's given numerous conflicting statements about the president, his legal team, the Russia investigation and even adult film star Stormy Daniels, claimed he was open to Trump sitting down with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team.

"I guess I'd rather do the interview. It gets it over with. It makes my client happy," Giuliani told The Washington Post. "The safe course you hear every lawyer say is don't do the interview, and that's easy to say in the abstract. That's much harder when you have a client who is the president of the United States and wants to be interviewed."

Giuliani also said Trump often goes back and forth over whether or not he should meet with Mueller, whose team has negotiated with the president's for months over an interview and even reportedly threatened to subpoena Trump to appear before a grand jury.

The protesters Wednesday had many unkind words for Trump, including a chant of "Unstable! Unfit! Donald Trump is full of s***!"

The group Rise and Resist, which states its intent is to disrupt and defeat any government action that "threatens democracy, equality and our civil liberties" on its Twitter account, organized the protest. Those who participated could be heard yelling as Trump's security caravan left the hotel.

At least one protester could be heard shouting "Lock him up!" referring to Trump, flipping the chant that regularly accompanied Trump's campaign against Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.
