Internet Can't Believe Pet Is Not Actually 'Someone Wearing a Dog Costume'

A goldendoodle which appears to walk like a human has left the internet in stitches, convincing some video commenters that he is a person wearing a dog costume.

In a hilarious viral clip, which has reached 1.4 million views, Leo stands on his hind legs as he leans his front paws against the worktop and barks.

Then, after a thoughtful and reflective gaze out of the window, he bounds back towards the camera.

Another viral clip which received 6.8 million views, shows the pup standing with his paws on the kitchen worktop so he can lean over and eat his bowl of food.

Goldendoodles are a popular hybrid breed of poodles and golden retrievers, they are lovable, playful and friendly, according to the DogTime website.

The owner of Leo (@leopoldoodle) shared on TikTok: "Leo being Leopoldo." And hundreds of commenters have revelled in the dog's humorous antics, remarking on his human-like qualities.

Camilla Spagnolo said: "I swear I thought it was someone wearing a dog costume."

Others called the fluffy hound a "skinwalker". Skinwalkers are mythical creatures originating from Native American folklore. They are animals which have the ability to transform into other creatures, according to day pets, an animal products store.

Another user joked: "I thought he was doing dishes."

One TikToker said: "Train him when he is finished to put dish in sink and rinse it!"

Leo is not the first pooch to have gone viral for his human-like ways, in February Steve, a border collie (@sauasagesoxandsteve) sat at the head of the table as he eagerly awaited his breakfast to be served. The dog's owner posted the adorable footage labeled Steve who could 'smell the bacon'.

Another Goldendoodle went viral in recent weeks, with his hilarious new goatee.

His TikToker owner @brewer2339 shared the hilarious footage of their dog's new hair do, rocking the striking new beard.

Luca the Goldendoodle (@memydoodsandi) went viral for his bedtime routine which had more steps than most humans care to follow before hitting the pillow. Footage showcased the blond, medium sized dog's pamper routine in a clip that has gained almost 300,000 likes.
