When Can I Play Gotham Knights?

Gotham Knights is set to release on October 21, and gamers looking forward to jumping into the newest Batman-connected game don't have long to wait. But when exactly can you start playing? Here's what you need to know.

Preloading for the upcoming game is already live on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. Reviews and previews for Gotham Knights are looking good, especially for those chomping at the bit for a new game set within the Batman universe. With the Gotham Knights release date pushed up four days from its originally scheduled release, fans can get their hands on the newest crime-fighting adventure as soon as midnight local time on October 21.

Upon release, gamers will be able to jump directly into Gotham Knights and hunt down multiple case files throughout the game's open world. It looks like there will be a lot for players to do, with several massive regions available for players to explore during their patrols.

Additionally, players will also be able to swap quickly between different characters, allowing them to take on different fighting styles and gadgets. And, because the game features a two-player co-op mode, a friend can drop in and join up in the battle against evil in Gotham City at any point.

Some users have noted that you can gain access a few hours earlier on some consoles; however, this requires setting up an account in a different country and even funding that account with a different country's currency.

Because of currency exchange rates, and because different versions of games in different countries can offer different censors and features, this isn't recommended, especially considering it won't get you much additional time with the game before it's released in your local time zone.

Gotham Knights puts players in the shoes of Nightwing, Robin, Batgirl or Red Hood as they take on the fight against crime in Gotham City after a tragedy befalls Batman. Players will need to work with their allies to uncover the secrets and mysteries of the city, all while exploring it and unlocking collectibles and new suits and learning the best ways to get around.

Each character comes with its own skills, abilities, and weapons, and each one will tackle the problems found throughout Gotham in their own way. If you're looking forward to the release of Gotham Knights, make sure to preload the game and then jump in when it releases at midnight local time on October 21.
