When Are the Grammys, Oscars and Golden Globes? Full Schedule of Awards Ceremonies

The year's most outstanding actors, artists and musicians will soon collect the gold when award season officially kicks off in January 2019.

All of Hollywood will come together to celebrate a year of hard work when the annual award shows air, including the Golden Globes, the Grammys and the Academy Awards.

The season kicks off with the 76th Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles on January 6. Actors Sandra Oh and Andy Samberg will host the ceremony live on NBC.

Some of the top contenders include fan-favorite films like A Star is Born, Vice, The Favourite, Black Panther and Crazy Rich Asians, while shows like The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Barry and Killing Eve scoured some of the most coveted nominations in the TV categories.

The Golden Globes marks the countdown to film's biggest night fo the year, the Academy Awards, which are set to air on ABC on February 24. The 91st annual award show will be held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles.

Initially, Kevin Hart was pegged to host the ceremony, however, following an outpour of backlash over homophobic tweets and jokes he wrote years ago, the comedian-actor stepped down from the role. "I have made the choice to step down from hosting this year's Oscars," he wrote on Twitter Friday.

"This is because I do not want to be a distraction on a night that should be celebrated by so many amazing talented artists. I sincerely want to apologize to the LGBTQ community for my insensitive words from my past," he continued.

The Academy has yet to announce the new host of the 2019 Oscars.

Before the film industry celebrates the best movies of the year, music will have its night of honors when the 61st Annual Grammy Awards airs live from Los Angeles' Staples Center on CBS February 10. Artists will receive awards in 84 categories, with musicians like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, Childish Gambino and Cardi B scoring some of the biggest nominations.
