They’ve been going to Corfu for years and used to take my brother and I as kids… this year they said it will probably be the last time they go because they’re getting to old, so my fiancé and I decided to fly out and say hi🥹🥰

User H commented: "Tell them to try cruises if they haven't already. Super accessible. Coach picks you up. Luggage taken to the cabins. My parents love them." Cruises are indeed popular, with website High Seas Cruising reporting that the cruise industry pulls in over 30 million passengers per year.

Cruises have always been thought of as a popular pastime of the older generation, but trends are changing. The cruising blog ShipMonk reports that according to the Cruise Lines International Associate (CLIA), the average age of a cruise passenger is now under 48, with millennials being the most enthusiastic age group of the future.

The CLIA's 2020 State of the Industry Report found that among those who have never been on a cruise, 63 percent of Generation Z, and 71 percent of millennials are likely to go on a cruise in the coming few years.

Some 4,000 people aged over 18 from the U.K., U.S, Canada, Australia, Germany, Italy, France and Spain were asked and the findings also showed that 71 percent of millennials have a more positive attitude towards cruising that in 2018. The report also found that solo cruising continues to grow as marriage rates decline, so cruise lines will be looking at offering more studio cabins, and eliminating single supplements to meet this demand.

Users were emotional in the comments, with user Eilidh Coyle writing, "Ok I'm crying. So sweet!! Cherish them."

User Danny commented: "Family moment, cherish those times."
