A British judge has blocked the publication of photographs allegedly stolen from an iCloud account belonging to the Duchess of Cambridge's sister.
Pippa Middleton took legal action against a "person or persons unknown" after private pictures were reportedly offered to The Sun and Daily Mail newspapers via encrypted messaging service WhatsApp.
Photographs of Middleton's sister Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge, and her children Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were reportedly among 3,000 images taken from the account, according to the BBC.
Barrister Adam Wolanski said Middleton thought there had been a "genuine hack." He stated there had been a "flagrant and criminal act" which had caused Middleton "considerable distress."
Nathan Wyatt, 35, has been released on police bail pending further inquiries after being arrested on suspicion of an offense under the Computer Misuse Act.
