Horror As Son Learning ASL Discovers Mom And Deaf Boyfriend's 'Dirty Talk'

A 17-year-old boy has taken to Reddit to express his regret for learning sign language to surprise his step-father, after being able to understand his mother's obscene signs.

In a post shared on Wednesday, the boy, who goes by the username u/SignMeOutNow, explained that his mother has been involved with a man for a few months and he gets along well with him, so he wanted to surprise him on his birthday.

His mother's new partner is deaf, and the boy's surprise was to learn sign language, so they could communicate better with no external help, but what was going to be a sweet surprise, tremendously backfired.

He said: "He can read lips, which is how I've been communicating with him. My plan was to surprise this new guy on his birthday, which is 2 months from now, and wish him a happy birthday as well as officially welcoming him to the family in sign language.

"However, I never factored in the amount of dirty talk my mom and new guy were having in sign language. Not knowing that I can understand them, my mom and new guy have gotten disturbingly comfortable exposing their sex life in my company.

"It didn't matter if we were at the dinner table or watching tv, I would constantly catch so many dirty descriptions being communicated between the two of them.

"They are worse than horny teenagers, and I should know, I am one. No 17 year old son should ever witness his mother use her fingers to demonstrate how wet her vagina is."

According to the National Institute of Deafness and Other Communication Disorders, about 2 to 3 out of every 1,000 children in the United States are born with a detectable level of hearing loss in one or both ears.

Approximately 15 percent of American adults, 37.5 million, aged 18 and over report some trouble hearing. Age is the strongest predictor of hearing loss among adults aged 20-69, with the greatest amount of hearing loss in the 60 to 69 age group.

The post, which was first shared on the subreddit e/TodayIF***edUp, has attracted a lot of attention. And has so far reached over 33,500 upvotes and 1,026 comments.

One user said: "Wow, this is both funny and horrible at the same time." And the original poster commented: "99.99% pure horror for me."

Another commenter said: "Wait for them to do it again then just awkwardly sign "can you not" without saying a word. I wanna hear that pin drop."

While another user suggested: "Well if you want the full nuclear package: Start writing down what they say. Then at your birthday, introduce that you learned sign language cause you are happy your mom found a really nice guy. Then proceed to read off (or sign) some of your "favorite" sayings they taught you."

However, one tried to reassure him: "If it makes you feel any better, one day you'll look back on these memories fondly."

And a hilarious responded said: "Thank you so much for sharing this I wish you the best luck in therapy."
