Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Saturday Night Live will not air a new episode this week. Fortunately, though, NBC is still providing the laughs on Saturday by showing a previously aired episode of the sketch comedy show—and it's a pretty iconic one at that.

Since there's no new episode scheduled, SNL will air an oldie-but-goodie. Viewers will be delighted to a host of classic sketches and skits delivered by a plethora of celebrated SNL alums. Dubbed, "Not Ready for Prime Time Players," Saturday's episode will include some of the funniest bits to ever appear on SNL featuring the likes of former cast members Eddie Murphy, Dana Carvey, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Chevy Chase, Mike Meyers, Al Franken and several others.

The rerun is set to air at SNL's usual timeslot on NBC at 11:30 p.m. ET on Saturday.

SNL is taking the week off after kicking off the winter portion of Season 44 with a hilarious roster of guest hosts and epic performances. So far, actors James McAvoy and Rachel Brosnaham have appeared on mid-season episodes along with musicians Greta Van Fleet and Meek Mill, respectively. The two episodes marked first-time appearances for each of the guests.

The next new episode of SNL isn't slated to air until February 9. The network revealed singer Halsey would serve as the host—marking her first time at the helm of the show. Details regarding the musical host for the upcoming new episode have yet to be released.

Those who missed the latest Season 44 episodes can still watch them via live stream on NBC's website and app. Viewers with Hulu will also be able to watch previously aired episodes on-demand. Folks interested in checking out the best clips of the night can binge all of SNL's best moments on the series' YoutTube.
