'SoulCalibur VI:' How to Unlock Inferno

Inferno, the big baddie of SoulCalibur VI , is playable but must first be unlocked by players getting through one of the two story modes of Bandai Namco's latest fighting game.

SoulCalibur fans will want to dive right into the two story modes offered in the sixth installment of the long-running series, but if you're looking to unlock Inferno as quickly as possible, you'll want to head over to Chronicle of Souls.

It's rather simple to unlock the baddie but here's how to unlock Inferno in SoulCalibur VI.

HOW TO UNLOCK INFERNO IN SOULCALIBUR VI

The Chronicle of Souls mode is the main SoulCalibur VI story and retells the event of the first game. There are 20 chapters in total and you'll play mostly as Kilik, Maxi and Xianhua.

Once you complete Chapter 19, Inferno will be unlocked and available to play in versus and arcade.

Inferno's playstyle is similar to Nightmare. Both warriors wield the Inferno Soul Edge and is probably has the longest reach in the game. Inferno also uses a combination of grabs that inflict a lot of damage if you decide to get too close.

The villain is already banned from official Bandai Namco tournaments and won't be allowed online, but if you're looking to give friends fits you can go into battle with the embodiment of the Soul Edge.

SoulCalibur VI is available now for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
