How to Watch Donald Trump Georgia Rally: Time, Live Stream and Event Info

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are set to hold campaign events in Georgia on Saturday as their general election clash looks to pick up steam.

Biden and Trump are the overwhelming favorites to secure the nominations of the Democratic and Republican parties, respectively, with each having won a majority of the state primary contests as they seek reelection to a second term. The 2020 rematch is an unpopular one, with voters routinely telling pollsters that they believe that neither man should be seeking another term for various reasons. Hypothetical general election match-ups have generally shown the two neck-and-neck, on average.

Each candidate is carrying significant momentum at this stage in the race, having won most of the state races held on Super Tuesday. On Saturday, they will both make their way to Georgia, a key state for the general election, for campaign events.

Trump's campaign rally will be held at The Forum in Rome, Georgia, a city roughly 70 miles northwest of Atlanta. The rally itself will commence at 5 p.m. ET, with doors opening for attendees at 1 p.m. Those unable to attend in person can livestream the event from various places, including the official C-SPAN website and the Right Side Broadcasting Network's YouTube channel. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Georgia Republican and staunch supporter of Trump, will also be in attendance at the event, as will state Senator Colton Moore, whose district encompasses the area where the rally will be held. It is unclear if anyone else will be making an appearance.

Biden, meanwhile, will be making his campaign stop in Atlanta as he looks to hit the campaign trail in a major way coming off of his State of the Union address on Thursday evening. After weathering months of recent criticism over his age and its effect on his fitness for office, Biden's address to Congress was noted and praised by many for its energy and vigor, with the president frequently railing against his "predecessor" and the dangers he poses to the country.

A new CNN poll found a significant positive swing in responses after his speech, with 62 percent of speech watchers saying that Biden's policies will move the country in the right direction compared to 45 percent who said so prior.

Newsweek reached out to Trump's office and the Biden campaign via email for comment on Saturday morning. Any responses will be added to this story in an update.

Georgia has been key to the conflict between Trump and Biden in the past, with the president scoring an upset victory in the state in 2020 by a slim margin of nearly 12,000 votes, flipping the state blue for the first time since 1992. Trump is currently facing a criminal indictment for efforts to overturn the election results in the state, which he has pleaded not guilty to.
