How to Watch, Live Stream 2019 Oscar Nominations

The nominations for the 91st Oscars will be held live on Tuesday, Jan. 22 at 8:20 a.m. ET/ 5:20 a.m. PT on ABC. The Academy Awards will air live on Feb. 24, but the revealing of nominees has become just as big as red carpet shows and the award ceremony itself.

For those not near a TV, where it can be seen on ABC's Good Morning America, YouTube is offering a live stream of the nominations.

The Academy has already announced that the nominations will be unveiled by actors Tracee Ellis Ross and Kumail Nanjiani.

The announcements will happen in two waves Tuesday, with supporting actor and actress, costume design, film editing score, sound editing, sound mixing, and both animated and live action short, being announced first according to goldderby.com.

About 10 minutes after the first nominations are announced, the Academy will reveal who's in contention for the big six awards — picture, director, lead actor and actress, and original and adapted screenplays — as well as cinematography, makeup and hairstyling, production design, visual effects, original song, animated feature, foreign language film, and feature and short-length documentary.

The show, which doesn't have a host for the first time in three decades, will air live on Feb. 24 on ABC.
