Tuesday's episode of TLC's reality show, I Am Jazz will delve deeper into the fast-moving relationship between Jazz and her boyfriend Ahmir. Audiences first heard of Ahmir during last week's episode when the transgender teen announced to her family that there was a new boy in her life.
First meeting Ahmir online, the two met in-person during the Philadelphia Trans Wellness Conference. As a cis-gender male, Jazz's family and friends look to be hesitant about the teen moving too quickly into a relationship with Ahmir–especially so quickly after her gender confirmation surgery.
"'There's a boy in the picture now.' That was a quick turnaround three weeks after my surgery. Don't judge," Jazz tweeted in conjunction with last week's episode.

In this week's sneak peek, audiences are able to see a segment of Jazz and Ahmir's first conversation after he flies into Florida to visit Jazz for the first time.
"I'm really excited you're down here," Jazz began. "We've been anticipating this for like–"
"Forever," Ahmir finished.
While it looks like Jazz and Ahmir are the quintessential "young love" relationship, audiences will have to wait and see how the Jennings family responds to their relationship. While last week's episode only showed a glimpse into Jazz's family and friends' reactions to Ahmir, it can only be speculated that things may hit some bumps along the road.
Not too much is known about Ahmir; however, in the episode's clip audiences learn he is a "reserved person" and it "takes a lot for [him] to open up."
"I've never dated anyone before who was transgender," Ahmir revealed to the camera. "I mean, I tell Jazz all the time that I don't like labels anyway, so Jazz is a girl to me. I see Jazz as a girl, period. I don't see anything else."
Jazz had previously told E! Online that she "can't spill all the secrets," when it comes to her relationship with Ahmir, so while it isn't clear whether their relationship continues throughout the season, audiences will have to wait and see what happens.
