The latest installment in the American Crime Story series will premiere on Tuesday, September 7 at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
There are 10 episodes in the series, which are expected to air every Tuesday on FX.
What Is 'Impeachment: American Crime Story' About?
Impeachment: American Crime Story will trace the events leading up to the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal and the impeachment trial itself.
The scandal, which occurred in the 90s, involved U.S. President Bill Clinton, in his late forties at the time, and White House intern Monica Lewinsky, who was in her early 20s.
Lewinsky alleged she had sexual encounters with Clinton on several occasions, confiding in her colleague Linda Tripp about their relationship.
Tripp secretly taped conversations between her and Lewinsky which were passed on to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr, who was investigating several allegations against Clinton, including those of Paula Jones who had sued the latter in 1994 for sexual harassment when she was working for the state of Arkansas during his governorship.
Starr used the evidence to broaden his investigation. In a 1998 deposition for the Jones lawsuit, Clinton denied having "sexual relations" with Lewinsky, which would eventually lead to one of the articles of impeachment, charging perjury.
He was later impeached by the House of Representatives for obstruction of justice and perjury. Clinton was acquitted and remained in office.

Beanie Feldstein portrays Monica Lewinsky in Impeachment: American Crime Story.
Feldstein is an American actress, best known for playing Molly Davidson in the 2019 film Booksmart.
Starring opposite Feldstein is Clive Owen as Bill Clinton. The British actor is known for his role as Dr. John W. Thackery in The Knick and Larry Gray in the film Closer.
Sarah Paulson, who portrayed Marcia Clark in The People vs. O.J. Simpson will take on the role of whistleblower Linda Tripp. Edie Falco will portray Hillary Clinton.
Anthony Green stars as Vice President Al Gore alongside Betty Gilpin as Ann Coulter, the conservative media pundit.
Unbelievable's Annaleigh Ashford rounds off the cast as Paula Jones, the Arkansas civil servant who accused Clinton of sexual harassment.
Parks and Recreation's Billy Eichner stars as Matt Drudge, the reporter who was first to break the news of the Lewinsky affair.

The clip does not give too much away and Beanie Feldstein is barely seen as Monica Lewinsky in the trailer.
But when she is spotted, she is wearing the infamous blue dress that formed much of the case against then President Bill Clinton (Clive Owen).
The trailer introduces both Lewinsky and Clinton, on her first day working in the West Wing of the White House. The pair catch each other's eye and smile.
Sarah Paulson is also introduced as Linda Tripp and is seen handing recordings of her conversations with Lewinsky over to the authorities. Edie Falco is also seen as Hillary Clinton.
A clip at the end of the trailer shows Clive Owen mirroring the exact stance and delivery of Clinton at the infamous White House press conference on January 26, 1998 where he stated: "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" as Linda watches on in horror.
Recently, the FX series official Instagram account posted a snap of Beanie Feldstein, who portrays Monica Lewinsky, in character.
In the picture, she is seen wearing Lewinsky's signature blue pastel outfit as she stares up at the White House.
Feldstein also shared the image with the caption: "Every side has a story."
In November 2020, Sarah Paulson shared an image of herself as Linda Tripp, with the caption "Linda. American Crime Story: Impeachment has begun principal photography."
