Internet in Hysterics at Border Collie Filmed Doing 'Shots' With Owner

A dog called Frey has become a social media sensation after his owner shared a clip of him showcasing a very unusual skill which quickly went viral.

The video, shared on TikTok in March under the username nikybylinska, shows the Czech border collie doing "air shots" (as some users call them) with his owner, picking up shot glasses with his teeth and pretending to drink like a human.

The hilarious video comes with a caption that reads: "Can't say no to him."

Dogs are among the most clever animals and can learn all sorts of tricks and commands to impress their owners.

As Fetch by WebMD reports, experts estimate that dogs have an average intelligence similar to that of a human toddler and can understand between 100 and 200 words.

But that's not all, they are capable of problem-solving, and some can even learn to count and do simple arithmetic.

Moreover, while they might not have a perfect understanding of command words, they do understand the basic sounds of important words.

Studies have shown that dogs respond the same way to nonsense words that sound like familiar command words, and, at the same time, they don't respond to nonsense words that don't sound like command words.

The video has so far received over 12 million views and 1.3 million likes on the platform.

One user, Shannon Bush, commented: "Love this and love how it's shots of air and not water." Baylee said: "NO WAYYYYYY HE CHEERED YOUUUUUU teach my dog!!!!!!"

Jada wrote: "This is awesome!! U should teach him how to tap the shot glass on the table and then take a shot." One user wrote: "I believe this dog is my soul mate and spirit animal all in one."

Amy commented: "I wanna know how she trained him to do this this is so funny."

Skye wrote: "I don't even drink but I need to teach my dog how to do this." User penné pasta said: "Bro can take more shots than I can AND 3x faster like dang."
