Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan is back on Prime Video for a third season but there have been some shake-ups to the cast for the new installment.
The third edition of the political thriller series, based on Clancy's novels, will see The Office star John Krasinski reprise his role as the titular character, who will start the season working as a CIA case officer in Rome, Italy.
It is there, per Prime Video, that Ryan is tipped off that the Sokol Project, a secret plan to restore the Soviet Empire, is being resurrected more than 50 years after it was thought to have been shut down.
While on a mission to confirm the intelligence, Ryan is wrongly implicated in a larger conspiracy and is forced to go on the run from his own government across Europe.
The show will also see the return of Wendell Pierce as James Greer and Michael Kelly as Mike November, but there are also new cast members who will be appearing in the new Jack Ryan episodes.
Newsweek has everything you need to know about the actors who have joined Season 3 of Jack Ryan, and what their characters mean for the show.

Betty Gabriel
New Jack Ryan character Elizabeth Wright, the chief of station in Rome, was originally set to be played by Marianne Jean-Baptiste but the Without a Trace actress departed the show in May 2021 due to, according to Deadline, "creative differences."
Betty Gabriel, who has appeared in Get Out and Clickbait, has replaced Jean-Baptiste as Wright.
Michael Peña
Ant-Man star Michael Peña has joined the Jack Ryan cast as Domingo "Ding" Chavez, a member of the CIA who was regularly featured in Clancy's novels.
For this season, Peña's role is as a guest star but it has already been confirmed Chavez, and Peña, will be back for Season 4. There have also been rumors that the Narcos star may also reprise the role of Chavez in a spinoff that is currently in development.
James Cosmo
Scottish actor James Cosmo, who fans may recognize from His Dark Materials has joined Jack Ryan as a character called Luka, who plays a part in the plot to attempt to restore the Soviet Empire.
Peter Guinness
Peter Guinness has been confirmed to play Petr in Jack Ryan. The character is the father of (and advisor to) President Kovac.
Nina Hoss
Homeland star Nina Hoss will star in Jack Ryan Season 3 as Czech President Alena Kovac.
While Kovac is a successful and intelligent politician, her world starts to fall apart as the events of Season 3 unfold.
Alexej Manvelov
Before We Die actor Alexej Manvelov stars as a Russian character called Alexei Petrov. Petrov becomes Russia's defense minister in the early episodes.
Zuleikha Robinson
Zuleikha Robinson will take the role of Zeyara. Details of the character and their place in the story have so far been kept under wraps.
Okieriete Onaodowan
Former Station 19 star Okieriete Onaodowan will be playing Adebayo "Ade" Osoji. Again, details about this character have been scarce ahead of the show's premiere.
Deadline has reported that Limitless actress Abbie Cornish is set to reprise her role as Cathy Mueller, but not until the fourth season.
The character was a staple of Jack Ryan's first season but was noticeably absent from Season 2.
Jack Ryan Season 3 is available to stream on Prime Video.
