Fox News' Jeanine Pirro Rails Against 'Deep State,' Calls FBI Leaders 'Liars, Leakers'

Fox News host Jeanine Pirro used her Saturday evening show to rail against the "Deep State" and what she claims is a massive federal government conspiracy against President Donald Trump.

Pirro listed off nearly a dozen former and current high-ranking FBI officials in her latest attempt to accuse James Comey of leading his own "crime family" and staging a "bloodless coup" against the Trump administration.

The host offered no actual evidence for her claims as she said Comey manipulated the Steele dossier for political purposes to "spy" on the Trump campaign. Pirro also repeatedly defended Attorney General William Barr and accused anyone who has questioned Barr's actions as a "leaker" and a "liar."

"They're not going quietly into the night, 'twill be a joy to watch," Pirro began in her opening segment Saturday evening. "Grab your popcorn, Junior Mints or whatever makes you happy. The real show is about to begin. This will be true reality TV. No scripts, no rehearsals, just a gang of criminals pointing fingers at each other to save their own hides. A version of true crime and the reality show Survivor. The deep state exposed."

Pirro directly named former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, former FBI agent Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, attorney James Baker, John Brennan, and James Clapper as a "gang" who set out to spy, lie and bring down Trump at all costs. Her conspiratorial rant concluded, "the amazing part of all of this is that there is no more denying the existence of a Deep State."

"I told you more than a year ago, for the director James Comey was the head of his own crime family," Pirro continued on. "And that he ran the upper echelon of the FBI like an organized criminal enterprise."

Pirro, who was also mocked overnight on Saturday Night Live as an intoxicated Trump sycophant, claimed the only reason Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation began was because "the mainstream media was receptive to their hateful media."

"But like any criminal conspiracy, the players are arrogant and think they're above the law, but mistakes are always made. Comey tells the president-elect the dossier is unverified..." Pirro continued, claming without evidence for at least the third time in as many shows that Democrats and the FBI have been attempting a "coup" against Trump.

"Comey says the guy he most admires in government is James Clapper," Pirro said, faking laughter. "Another liar and leaker -- this bozo like you Jim flatly denied leaking the dossier."

Pirro spent much of her opening monologue defending Barr and playing clips she claimed prove the existence of an anti-Trump intelligence community.

"I thought that when I came in from the outside that all the questions that I had and many other people had would be readily answered once I got in, but I haven't found that to be the case," Barr told Fox News in an interview filmed this past week and aired on Pirro's show Saturday.
