Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence is suspected to have moved on from her director ex-boyfriend Darren Aronofsky with new rumored beau, Cooke Maroney.

Maroney, 33, works as a director at Gladstone 64—one of the Gladstone Galleries—in New York. Gladstone 64 currently represents artists like Lena Dunham's dad, Carroll Dunham, and Matthew Barney, who previously dated Icelandic singer Björk. Before this, he was employed at New York's Gagosian Gallery. He is a Vermont native and a New York University alumni, who studied art history when enrolled, according to his Facebook profile.

While his Instagram is private, Paris Hilton is one of Maroney's 2,000 followers.

Lawrence, 27, was reportedly spotted with Maroney several times around New York City in the last few weeks. Paparazzi managed to capture pictures of the rumored pair while out. Representatives for Lawrence did not immediately return Newsweek's request for comment regarding the speculation, but neither party has confirmed or denied their alleged romantic involvement.

The Hunger Games actress was last linked to Aronofsky, who directed her in 2016's mother! The former pair called it quits in October after dating for one year. Lawrence cited mother! as the reason for their breakup.

"Normally, I promote a movie, ask people to go see it, and then it's just out of your hands," Lawrence, 27, said during an interview with Adam Sandler for Variety's Actors on Actors series in November 2017. "I normally just kind of let it go. Dating the director was different. We'd be on the [press] tour together, I'd come back to the hotel, and the last thing I want to talk about or think about is a movie."

Added Lawrence, "He comes back from the tour, and that's all he wants to talk about and I get it...I was doing double duty trying to be a supportive partner, while also being like, 'Can I please, for the love of God, not think about mother! for one second?'"

Lawrence called Aronofsky her "very good friend" when presenting him with an award at the BAM Gala in May. She previously said that she has remained close with all of her ex-boyfriends.

"I'm friends with all my exes, actually," Lawrence said on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast in February. "For the most part, yeah, I have a theory: I think it's because I'm blunt."
