Everything Jennifer Lawrence Has Said About Harvey Weinstein

Jennifer Lawrence raised eyebrows when she said the most bizarre rumor she'd read about herself was that she had "f***** Harvey Weinstein."

The Academy Award-winning actress, 32, made the comment during Vogue's "73 Questions" video, but it's not the first time she has spoken so frankly about the disgraced movie producer, 70.

Weinstein is serving a 23-year prison sentence for multiple sex crimes and in 2018, was sued in a civil suit by six women for sexual assault, with one claiming he had "bragged" about sleeping with Lawrence after she rejected his advances.

"Do you even want to be an actress?" the lawsuit alleged Weinstein said to the woman. "I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is; she has just won an Oscar."

The pair first worked together in 2012 on Silver Linings Playbook when Lawrence was just 22.

Weinstein executive-produced the critically acclaimed movie, for which Lawrence won her first Academy Award for best actress.

The two were regularly photographed at fashion shows and other Hollywood events, but Lawrence distanced herself from the convicted rapist after the allegations of sexual assault surfaced.

From "wanting to kill him" to calling him an "a** boil," here are some of the things she has said about Weinstein.

2013: Killing for That Award

While accepting her Golden Globe award for Silver Linings Playbook at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, Lawrence joked that Weinstein went to extreme lengths to get her that award.

"Harvey, thank you for killing whoever you had to kill to get me up here today."

2013: Thanks for Oscars Slip-up

Lawrence gave a charming acceptance speech when she won her Oscar but forgot to thank the producer.

"I forgot to thank Harvey Weinstein, so that's the end of my career, but it's been amazing, it's been fun," she told the Extra entertainment news program after stepping off the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles.

But the reporter gave Lawrence the chance to make amends on camera. "Thank you, Harvey. I love you," she said. "You're still my little rascal!"

2013: No More Harvey

While presenting an award at the 24th GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles, Lawrence congratulated Weinstein on the recent birth of his son.

"Harvey gave us just what we needed—another him," she said.

"If he's anything like his dad, he's going to be relentless, passionate, and just about the best mentor an aspiring actor could ever hope for."

Weinstein said: "Thank you, Jen—but you can stop kissing up to me for forgetting to thank me at the Oscars."

2014: Harvey the Idiot

The actress slammed Weinstein because he told media she had planned to take a 12-month hiatus from acting after seeing her career fortunes rise.

"That's just Harvey being an idiot," Lawrence said to MTV News on the 2014 Oscars red carpet at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

"He's not being an idiot, I don't know. I would like to take a year off. That would be a dream."

2017: Keeping her Distance

Lawrence condemned Weinstein's actions on an interview with 60 Minutes, saying he had never abused her.

"He was never inappropriate with me," she said. "But what he did is criminal and deplorable.

"And when it came out and I heard about it, I wanted to kill him. The way that he destroyed so many women's lives. I want to see him in jail."

2017: A Brute of a Father Figure

The actress said Weinstein was "paternal" to her most of the time, and when he wasn't, then he could be terrifying.

"He had only ever been nice to me — except for the moments that he wasn't, and then I called him an a******, and we moved on," she told Oprah Winfrey.

"He was paternal to me. So I needed a moment to process everything because I thought I knew this guy, and then he's being accused of rape. We all knew he was a dog. We knew that he was a [brute].

"And it's so widespread, the abuse, from so many different people — it's directors, it's producers — that I think everybody needed to [process it]," Lawrence said. "Everybody needs to deal with this in their own way; everybody needs to heal."

Lawrence said she felt disgusted after hearing NYPD audio of Weinstein with a Filipina-Italian model named Ambra Gutierrez.

"Being able to hear when the woman wore the microphone and Harvey was telling her to watch him shower — I felt sick in my bones for an entire day," she said.

"I was just sick. I was just like, 'I can't,' after hearing that. And that's why it's so important to talk about abuse, all of the different forms of abuse, because he didn't lay a finger on her, and I felt chilled to my bones."

2018: Not in my Name

Lawrence joined the likes of Meryl Streep to denounce Weinstein using her name in the class-action suit against him.

Weinstein's lawyers tried to stop the legal proceedings from going ahead by name-dropping several famous Hollywood women who had publicly supported Weinstein.

"Jennifer Lawrence, who told Oprah Winfrey she had known Weinstein since she was 20 years old and said 'he had only ever been nice to me,' and Meryl Streep, who stated publicly that Weinstein had always been respectful to her in their working relationship," the suit read.

Lawrence responded soon after by slamming Weinstein's tactics.

"Harvey Weinstein and his company are continuing to do what they have always done, which is to take things out of context and use them for their own benefit," the Hunger Games actress said. "This is what predators do, and it must stop."

"For the record, while I was not victimized personally by Harvey Weinstein, I stand behind the women who have survived his terrible abuse, and I applaud them in using all means necessary to bring him to justice whether through criminal or civil actions. Time's up," Lawrence said.

2018: 'A** Boil'

Appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert not long after releasing the above statement, Lawrence described Weinstein in unflattering terms.

"He is just that horrible a** boil that does not go away," she said. "You pop the a** boil. He's just the worst. When is it gonna end?"

Lawrence found out about his lawyer's tactics to namedrop her while on a press tour in Europe and was forced to respond immediately.

"In the middle of the night, I had to come up with a statement in London," she said. "And I was like, 'It's still not over?'"

2022: Bizarre Rumors

Lawrence went on Vogue's 73 Questions program for the first time, and the episode was released Tuesday.

She was asked by the unseen interviewer: "What's the most bizarre thing you've ever read about yourself?"

Lawrence paused, but then said: "That I f***** Harvey Weinstein."
