MTV is bringing back Jersey Shore Family Vacation for Season 2 in August, the network announced in a press release on Thursday. That means you don't have to wait long for more drama and fist pumping.
A sneak peek with the announcement promises that "s**t gets real" when the series returns. The video features the seven original housemates—Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Deena Nicole Cortese, Jenni "JWOWW" Farley, Vinny Guadagnino, Paul "Pauly D" Delvecchio, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro—toasting followed by the message that "the vacation is over."
It's not. The clip then goes on to tease what's to come, including babies, weddings, Vegas, surprises, spiraling, fighting, growing up, history and a homecoming. Season 1 saw the cast reunite in Miami, and MTV revealed in the announcement that Season 2 will see them go on vacation to Las Vegas.
Guadagnino shared that they're already filming the new season with TV Insider on Wednesday. Season 2 "does not disappoint" and is "even crazier" than Season 1. "Miami looked like a merry-go-round and friendly little adventure compared to what is happening" in Las Vegas, he teased.
Before the first season could end, however, Jenni said Mike and Ronnie needed to air out their problems in the finale, "The Final Supper." People posted the dialogue from the argument that ensued during the last family dinner after the episode aired on Thursday if those who want to check it out.
They fought over Mike's accusation that Ronnie needs rehab, and in turn, Ronnie brought up Mike's tax evasion. Their fight ended the group's dinner, but the two apologized and both said they "went low" soon after.
"Me and Mike are always going to have a little bit of animosity," Ronnie said.
Jenni hinted the group would get together for another "vacation" during their last breakfast, suggesting they get together more often. She added that while they "closed one book long ago," they're opening another one. "Stay tuned, mother***ers," she promised. "Because we're not done."
The first season is not quite done yet, either, according to the show's Twitter account. "See you same time next week for a special episode," a tweet from Thursday reads.
