Jim Carrey Newest Cartoon Depicts 'Repugnant Oaf' Donald Trump, Calls President's Supporters a 'Sith'

Jim Carrey lashed out at President Donald Trump supporters with a new cartoon drawing that showed the president as Star Wars: Episode I villain, Darth Maul. He referred to Trump's legion of devotees as members of the Sith.

"If u can still support this repugnant oaf, while ignoring 17 investigations, 34 indictments, 7 guilty pleas, 9000 lies, child imprisonment, money laundering, racism, misogyny, infidelity, environmental rape, and high treason, you're not just misinformed... you're a Sith," Carrey wrote.

Fans of the Star Wars anthology know the Siths were a segment of Force-wielders who were unabashedly dedicated to the dark side. Siths were known for their practice and praise of hate, deception and greed, often purported by their leaders, Darth Sidious, Darth Vader and Maul.

Maul, who Carrey used as inspiration to showcase Trump, was one of the franchise's biggest villains and perhaps one of the hardest for the Force to destroy.

The 45th president is currently named in at least 17 various court cases, including the probe being handled by special counsel Robert Mueller, referred to as the Russia investigation. Mueller is investigating Russian officials's alleged involvement in the 2016 presidential election and Trump's suspected collusion. Thirty-four people and three companies, including six of Trump's former advisers, have either been indicted or entered guilty pleas in connection to the investigation.

Carrey's Thursday cartoon was the latest in a string of drawings raging against Trump and various right-wing fixtures. Hours before the actor compared Trump to Maul, he shared another cartoon of a sleeping Trump captioned, "Executive Time," likely taking aim at an early February Axios report, which revealed the president spent about 60 percent of his time enjoying "executive time."
