Jim Carrey Twitter: New Artwork Tackles Congressman Adam Schiff, Democrats for Not Showing 'Passion'

Actor Jim Carrey has created yet another political-themed painting for the masses to enjoy Friday, but his latest work targeted the Democratic Party—Congressman Adam Schiff, in particular.

Schiff, the U.S. Representative for California's 28th Congressional District, addressed claims Thursday regarding President Donald Trump's belief that federal investigators allegedly put a spy within his presidential election campaign. "Nothing we heard today has changed our view, that there is no evidence to support any allegation that the FBI, or any intelligence agency, placed a spy in the Trump campaign or otherwise failed to follow appropriate procedures and protocols," Schiff said via Twitter.

Carrey is known for attacking the Republican Party, but he shifted his focus Friday with artwork that attacked Schiff and other Democrats, which he subsequently shared on Twitter. The painting depicted Schiff with his pants down, stylized with a lower region that echoed that of a Ken doll. A donkey was also present, and it appeared to be preparing to kick Schiff from behind.

"If you can't win a PR war against this mobbed up, dirty, rotten Cheeto, then you need to get out of politics," Carrey, 56, wrote via Twitter. "Get mad, Goddamnit! Show some passion! We've had it with your calm, reasonable manner! MAKE SOME F'ING NOISE!"

Carrey's Schiff drawing comes on the heels of artwork he made in light of the shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas that occurred May 18. On Monday, he shared his thoughts on the incident through a picture and text. The picture portrayed desks in an empty classroom that had bullet holes plastered all over the walls. It was accompanied by his modified version of the Pledge of Allegiance.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the gun makers for whom it stands," his picture read. "One nation, under greed—indefensible. With butchery and injustice for the most innocent of all."

Carrey has used his paintings to slam multiple people and incidents. Some of the Dumb and Dumber actor's list of victims include Senator Marco Rubio, House Speaker Paul Ryan, Fox News, and National Rifle Association (NRA) CEO Wayne LaPierre. However, Trump—and all things related to him—tend to be his go-to for inspiration.
