Joe Rogan Says CIA Withholding JFK Files That Make Them Look 'Bad'

Joe Rogan thinks the CIA is withholding key details regarding the assassination of John F. Kennedy after the agency recently released thousands of documents on the 1963 killing of the former president.

The controversial comedian and podcast host was discussing the release on his The Joe Rogan Experience show with guest Brian Redban. Redban is a comedian and a former producer on Rogan's show who has recorded hundreds of episodes with the host.

The pair discussed a number of topics including Donald Trump and the assassination of John F. Kennedy. During a wide-ranging discussion, Redban brought up the previously classified documents pertaining to Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963.

"They just released all of those JFK documents, did anything come out of that?" Redban asked, to which Rogan informed him about the revelations involving Lee Harvey Oswald being a "Russian asset" and that he was "honeypotted" by his wife, Marina Oswald Porter.

"For anybody that thinks, in 2022, that you know what happened in 1963, you're crazy," Rogan said on the popular Spotify podcast.

Together, Rogan and Redban watched a long video of Fox News host Tucker Carlson's take on the documents. Carlson said that his team had asked an "anonymous but credible" source if the CIA was involved in the killing of JFK, to which the source allegedly replied, "Yes, I believe they were involved."

After the video ended, Rogan expressed his disbelief: "Bro. Jesus Christ."

Rogan's producer Jamie Vernon reminded them that not all of the documents have been released, as some have been withheld by the CIA.

"I would definitely not let people read the ones that would be looking bad. That's the only explanation," Rogan said. "Why can't we read them? They must be bad. They can't be good."

Redban suggested the released documents could cause chaos and cause the country to riot if such documents were ever seen.

"How will [the people] ever find out? If they're able to keep s*** from us, how will they ever find out? Even though there have been laws passed that they have to be released in 2017."

Thousands of documents relating to the assassination of JFK were released on December 15, 2022, with the White House stating that more than 97 percent of the records in the collection were now publicly available. A law passed in 1992 required the government to release all documents on the assassination by October 2017.

Recently, Rogan made headlines when he called COVID-19 masks the MAGA hats of Democrats and accused Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson of being on muscle-enhancing steroids.
