Happiness is set to begin on June 7—for longtime Jonas Brothers fans, that is. The trio announced their next album, Happiness Begins,on Monday. The album marks the band's first in nearly a decade.
Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas all confirmed the news about the group's next big project on their respective social media pages on Monday. The June arrival of Happiness Begins marks the boys' first record in seven years. Before this, they released their fourth studio album Lines, Vines and Trying Times in June 2009 under former label Hollywood Records.
"#HappinessBegins June 7th," Kevin, the eldest JoBro, tweeted Monday. "After 7 years of not working together & finding ourselves we're back to give you our journey in album form."
The father of two elaborated on the group's experience working on their fifth record, saying "Out of all the albums we've done I'm most proud of this one. Wish you could have it now, but you'll just have to wait a little bit longer."
Nick tweeted about how he was "so excited to share" the news of their record's June 7 arrival. Joe, for his part, said via Twitter that he couldn't "wait for you guys to hear this album."
A representative for the Jonas Brothers didn't immediately return Newsweek's request for comment.

The Jonas Brothers initially parted ways in 2013 after releasing "Pom Poms" and "First Time," which were supposed to be part of an album titled V. Kevin ventured down an entrepreneurial path and briefly starred on the now-canceled E! reality series Married to Jonas with his wife, Danielle. Nick put out two solo albums, acted in various projects like Scream Queens and toured with fellow Disney alum Demi Lovato. Joe served as the frontman to pop band DNCE and served as a coach on The Voice Australia.
Rumors of a comeback began to circulate after the group reactivated their Twitter and Instagram accounts in January 2018, but a reunion wasn't confirmed until February this year.
On February 28, the boys dropped "Sucker," their first reunion single. The "Sucker" music video featured the brothers' significant others Danielle, Priyanka Chopra and Sophie Turner. "Sucker" was followed by "Cool" on April 4. Their comeback was also promoted through a weeklong takeover on The Late Late Show with James Corden in March, where the brothers revealed that Nick initially sparked the conversation of breaking up the band.
Jonas Brothers' comeback comes with more than just a new album. On March 4 it was announced the group would be the focal point of a documentary for Amazon. The film promises to give fans an "intimate" look into Nick, Joe, and Kevin's world.
"Our fans are the best in the world and have shared in our journey as the Jonas Brothers and us as individuals," the Jonas Brothers said in a statement. "In releasing this documentary we wanted to make sure we partnered with an innovative platform, like Amazon, that could reach our fans around the world."
