Kevin Hart has a problem staying away from his biggest weaknesses—or at least thats how it appears in the trailer for his upcoming movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
In the new movie—a loose sequel to the unforgettable 1995 Robin Williams film—Hart plays Moose Finbar, a zoologist and weapons specialist who has a weakness for cake and plays opposite Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Dr. Smolder Bravestone. The film's trailer, released Wednesday, teases that Finbar's weakness could be his undoing, as he is seen exploding moments after devouring a mouthful of pound cake.
The moment in the trailer doesn't necessarily mean Hart's character will be killed off before the movie's end, though.
Similar to the original Jumanji, in which children were sucked into a magical board game, the new version follows four high-schoolers who get sucked into a Jumanji video game. After turning on the game and choosing their avatars, the teens are magically transported to the game's jungle setting and find themselves trapped inside of the avatars of their choosing.
In order to be released from the game, the troupe will have to overcome a slew of obstacles, which will require some team building, before they run out of their three lives and are stuck in the game forever.
While the trailer has resulted in mixed reactions from fans of the original Jumanji, in which Williams played the character Alan Parrish, the 2017 comedy seems to be a family-friendly movie that plays up the same themes that encompassed the 1995 film—like working as a team, helping others, taking a stand in the face of adversity and letting go of false judgements.

The new film also will reportedly feature a few connections to Williams' movie. Jack Black, who plays Dr. Shelley Oberon in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, told The Hollywood Reporter in June that characters trapped inside the video game will lean on clues left behind by Williams' character during their quest.
"We're exploring this jungle and trying to conquer the game; it's life or death," he said. "But while we're there, we find clues left behind by [Williams's character Alan Parrish]. He built up a full-blown jungle house, similar to a Swiss Family Robinson situation. It's like he's there helping us without actually being there."

Hopefully, some of those clues will come in handy for Hart's character's cake-weakness before he runs out of his three lives.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle hits theaters on December 21.
