Bandai Namco announced Yugi Muto from theYu-Gi-Oh! manga and anime series as the newest member of the Jump Force roster.
Not many details were given outside of the announcement, and there was no trailer to showcase how Yugi Muto will fight the likes of Naruto, Luffy and Goku, but the "King of Games" is up for any challenge. A screenshot of how Yugi will look in Jump Force was included with the announcement and can be seen below.
Yugi's inclusion to Jump Force comes as a bit of a surprise considering the series is better known for it's card games than hand-to-hand combat. It'll be interesting to see how Bandai incorporates the card game elements to this fighting game.
The inclusion of Yugi Muto brings the Jump Force roster number to 15, which includes Goku, Luffy, Naruto, Ichigo, Rukia, Zolo, Sanji, Gon, Sabo and Vegeta on the side of good. The side of evil includes Hisoka Aizen, Frieza and Blackbeard.
Jump Force will tell the story of what happens when the real world and the Shonen Jump world mash together, and it's not for the benefit of either.
Jump Force is set to release on PS4, Xbox One and Steam in 2019.
