When Will 'Jurassic World: Dominion' Be Streaming?

Jurassic World: Dominion is the final film in the Jurassic Park franchise, bringing both it and the Jurassic World trilogy to a close.

Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the film once again follows Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard's Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. It also brings back some very familiar faces: Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill.

The trio famously portrayed Dr. Ellie Sattler (Dern), Dr. Alan Grant (Neill) and Dr. Ian Malcolm (Goldblum) in Steven Spielberg's iconic 1993 movie Jurassic Park, and Jurassic World: Dominion is the first time they're all back together again.

Set four years after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, the film sees dinosaurs roam the Earth once again following the Lockwood Estate incident and the volcanic eruption on Isla Nubar.

Jurassic World: Dominion has been given an exclusively theatrical release, which means that it will only initially be available to watch in theaters.

Typically, movies that have an exclusive theatrical window will be in theaters for a minimum of 45 days. However, depending on how well a film is doing at the box office this can be extended to a 90-day or 120-day window.

Universal Pictures released Jurassic World: Dominion, so the film will be coming to NBC's streaming platform Peacock.

Peacock will be the film's exclusive streaming home, but a report from The Hollywood Reporter in December 2021 shared that the film is not expected to be released within the 45-day theatrical window.

This makes sense given how well the film has done at the box office since its release on June 10, raking in $145 million from 4,676 theaters at the domestic box office alone.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Jurassic World: Dominion earned an impressive $392.4 million at the global box office by June 12.

According to a report from IGN from July 2021, the third Jurassic World movie will not be available to stream until at least four months after its theatrical release.

This means that the earliest Jurassic World: Dominion will be released on Peacock is in October 2022, though this may be extended if the film continues to do well at the box office.

Universal has not yet made an official announcement about when Jurassic World: Dominion will be released on Peacock, but they are expected to do so in the coming months.

Jurassic World: Dominion is out in theaters now.
