Justin Bieber Reveals Mike Lowery Alias in Sexual Assault Claims Denial

Justin Bieber has denied sexual assault allegations from 2014 in a robust Twitter thread refuting the claims, where he also revealed the alias he uses for booking hotels.

The "Sorry" singer took to social media on Sunday night to post a series of tweets outlining his whereabouts, who he was with, his alias Mike Lowery, and copies of receipts for his accommodation at the time, insisting any allegations are "factually impossible."

The 26-year-old was responding to an accusation by a woman who identified herself as Danielle on Twitter.

In a since-deleted Tweet from June 20 the woman claimed that she met Bieber when she was 21, and he was 20, at an event in Austin in 2014.

The account has also now been deleted with Bieber confirming his plans to take legal action.

The tweet claimed that on March 9, 2014, Bieber invited Danielle and her friends to the Four Seasons hotel, where he took her to a separate room and assaulted her. No further details were provided.

Newsweek has contacted Bieber's representatives for comment.

The accusations were initially denied by a representative for Bieber, Alison Kaye, the general manager of Scooter Braun's SB Projects who said that the performer did not stay at the Four Seasons on the night in question.

Bieber later followed up with his own thread where he states he stayed in an Airbnb that night with his then-girlfriend Selena Gomez.

"I don't normally address things as I have dealt with random accusations my entire career but after talking with my wife and team I have decided to speak up on an issue tonight," he began.

"Rumors are rumors but sexual abuse is something I don't take lightly. I wanted to speak out right away but out of respect to so many victims who deal with these issues daily I wanted to make sure I gathered the facts before I made any statement."

"In the past 24 hours a new Twitter appeared that told a story of myself involved with sexual abuse on March 9, 2014 in Austin Texas at the Four seasons hotel. I want to be clear. There is no truth to this story. In fact as I will soon show I was never present at that location."

Bieber explained that he did "surprise a crowd in Austin at SXSW" performing a few songs on stage with Gomez present at the set.

He also pointed out a tweet that a Twitter user posted in 2014 saying they saw him at the Four Seasons.

"However I never stayed at the four seasons on the 9th or the 10th. This person put another tweet up earlier saying they saw me at the restaurant the following night not the hotel," he clarified.

"Furthermore I stayed with Selena and our friends at an airbnb on the 9th and on the 10th stayed at a Westin because our hotel reservation at LÀ Quinta and not the four seasons was messed up," he said alongside photos of the receipts from the accommodation booking.

"We have also confirmed with the Four Seasons regional manager that I was never on property on the 9th of March 2014 and never a guest on the 9th or the 10th and I welcome all press to inquire with them if needed or wanted," he continued, providing additional information regarding his whereabouts.

Bieber concluded his denial by confirming that he will be taking legal action and emphasized how seriously he was taking the allegation.

He also said he would not be using the name Mike Lowery as an alias anymore.

"Every claim of sexual abuse should be taken very seriously and this is why my response was needed. However this story is factually impossible and that is why I will be working with twitter and authorities to take legal action," he wrote.

His ex-girlfriend Gomez has yet to respond to being named in the tweets.
