What Does Kate Middleton Think About Meghan Markle's Pregnancy? 'It'll be really special'

Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and mother of three royal babies couldn't be more excited to welcome yet another royal family member into the mix. The Duchess opened up about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's pregnancy news for the first time during a visit to Leicester University with her husband Prince William on Wednesday.

It all started when a fan asked Kate about her children—5-year-old Prince George, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, 7 months. "They're doing well, thank you," Middleton said. "They're getting excited for Christmas time because they've started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up."

Middleton gushed over how much her youngest of the troupe has grown over the past few months. "And Louis' getting bigger, I can't believe he's like seven months, he's getting to be a big boy," she said.

When another fan asked if she'll be happy to become an aunt again when Harry and Markle's baby arrives, Middleton said, "Absolutely!"

"It's such a special time to have little kiddies," she added. "And a cousin for George and Charlotte, as well, and Louis. It'll be really special."

Middleton became an aunt for the first time when her sister Pippa Middleton welcomed her first child, Arthur Michael William Matthews, with husband James Matthews in October.

Harry and Markle also announced their baby news in October. A statement, released by Kensington Palace said William, Middleton and the rest of the royal family were "delighted for the couple."

George, Charlotte and Louis' baby cousin isn't expected to arrive until sometime in the spring of 2019. Although the child will likely be as close to the princes and princess as their parents are with each other, Harry and Markle's baby won't grow up within the same household as their royal family members.

Kensington recently announced Harry and Markle are expected to move from the 2-bedroom apartment within the London palace, where William, Middleton and their children also live along with other royal family members. Harry and Markle are set to move 25 miles west of London to the Frogmore Cottage on the Windsor Estate before the baby's arrival.
