Claudia Conway, the daughter of former Donald Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, celebrated on Saturday the two states that removed the former president from the 2024 ballot.
Trump, the frontrunner for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, faces legal challenges that seek to remove him from the ballot in several states, with two having already barred his name from primary voters' consideration. The lawsuits argue that Trump is ineligible to run under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars officials who have sworn an oath to the U.S. Constitution from holding office if they engaged in insurrection.
On Thursday, Maine became the second state to remove the former president from its 2024 ballot, preventing him from participating in its primary in March. Earlier this month, the Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump should be barred from the state's ballot because of his alleged role in the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021. Trump is facing federal charges in connection to his alleged actions leading up to the riot, which followed after he addressed his supporters that day during a rally on Capitol Hill.
Trump has maintained his innocence and said that he did not engage in an insurrection, accusing those filing lawsuits against him of attempting election interference. Meanwhile, the Colorado Republican Party has also filed an appeal against the state's decision, which will bring the case to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In a post to X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, Claudia Conway wrote about her admiration for the two states.
"Guys my two favorite states are Maine and Colorado right now buttttt I'm not sure why," she wrote.

Claudia Conway is the 19 year-old daughter of Kellyanne, a pollster who rose to national prominence as the manager of Trump's successful 2016 presidential campaign, later becoming a senior adviser in the Trump White House.
However, Claudia Conway emerged in 2020 as a vocal critic of Trump and his presidency, despite her mother's position. She has remained vocally opposed to the former president and many conservative political pursuits, including the overturning of Roe v. Wade.
This is not the first time the younger Conway spoke out against Trump. In March, she admitted to looking forward to the possibility of the former president being indicted.
Trump is facing charges by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for allegedly paying hush money to adult film star Stormy Daniels in 2016 to keep an alleged affair between the two private. The former president is also being charged for his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election result in Georgia, the events surrounding the riot at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, and his handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort residence in Florida. Trump has maintained his innocence in each case.
At the time it was believed an indictment could be imminent after it was revealed Trump was offered the chance to testify before a Manhattan grand jury over the alleged payments to Daniels.
Claudia Conway, retweeted her dad, George Conway, who had posted to social media a screenshot of a text exchange between himself and an unnamed broadcast producer or journalist, inviting him to appear on a show to share his thoughts "when [the] Trump indictment comes down."
George Conway, the co-founder of the anti-Trump political action committee, The Lincoln Project, replied: "Sure—if I'm sober."
Claudia Conway shared the text exchange and added in the caption: "I'll drink to that."
