What Is 'Kevin Can F*** Himself' About?
In Kevin Can F*** Himself, Schitt's Creek star Annie Murphy plays Allison, a typical sitcom wife who has reached breaking point. Her clueless husband Kevin (Eric Petersen) appears to live in a fantasy world with his family and buddies, which is in total contrast to his wife's reality. Over the first season, Allison breaks out from the sitcom convention and starts taking the lead in her own life.
The show's name is a sweary play on the shortlived CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait and many have speculated that the character of Kevin is based on the comedy stylings of Kevin James.
Other actors in the AMC series include Mary Hollis Inboden, Brian Howe, Raymond Lee and Robin Lord Taylor.
