Kim Kardashian Hangs Out With Groomsman From Her and Kris Humphries' Wedding

Entertainment gossip and news from Newsweek's network of contributors

Kim Kardashian sat courtside next to her ex-husband Kris Humphries' good friend Peter Cornell, who was even one of his groomsmen in their wedding, at the April 9 Lakers game.

The Skims founder brought her daughter, North, to the Lakers game in L.A., and she was spotted chatting it up and looking friendly with Cornell. Although it was confirmed by TMZ that the two are just friends, it was an interesting throwback to witness since Kardashian used to hang out with the real estate agent when she was with Humphries.

Cornell played basketball in the 2000s but is now a realtor and the Director of the Sports & Entertainment Division at the infamous Oppenheim Group, which is known as the agency behind the show Selling Sunset.

Kardashian married Humphries in August 2011 — and the affair was even filmed for her reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Although, their marriage did not last long, since she filed for divorce 72 days after the wedding.

The reality star then started dating Kanye West in 2012 and the next year, the duo welcomed their first child, North, who is now 10 years old. They got married in May 2014 and also share Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4. Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, although it wasn't finalized until March 2022.
