TikToker Edits Kim Kardashian's Alleged Photoshopped Image Back to Original

Kim Kardashian has been caught up in another Photoshop controversy, with the star being accused of editing her shoulders to look smaller.

The reality TV icon and her famous sisters are no strangers to a Photoshop scandal, and the latest is leaving fans frustrated.

The 41-year-old shared a photo to Instagram two weeks ago of her resting poolside while drinking from a straw. Eagle-eyed TikTokker and photographer Caroline In The City pointed out that the water in the pool behind Kardashian is warped—a telltale sign of photoshop.

Caroline In The City said that Kardashian has edited her traps—a muscle that starts at the base of your neck, goes across your shoulders and extends to the middle of your back.

While Kardashian's traps can be clearly seen in the post's accompanying video, her neck and shoulder area looks noticeably different in the two photos.

"Kim K is notorious for photoshopping out her traps. Why? I don't know. Maybe it makes her neck look smaller but this area right here has been photoshopped out," she wrote in the TikTok.

The TikTokker undid the alleged warping in the photo to show what it would have looked like originally.

"As you can see, the water reflection in the background starts to look a lot more natural as well, we don't have that warped effect," she explained.

She then compared the images side by side, adding: "Here's the photo that they released. Here is the corrected version. Check out the water patterns in the background."

Referencing the video in the post, the TikTok creator added: "There's the before for reference, and here's a screenshot from behind-the-scenes video where you can see her neck and trapezius."

Newsweek has contacted Kardashian's representative for comment.

The clip has gone viral and clocked up a staggering 7 million views on TikTok at the time of writing.

Needless to say, fans are frustrated that a Kardashian has seemingly been caught Photoshopping again.

"I don't understand why they do it, the nonedited original is so much better looking," reads one comment.

While another added: "This is actually so not okay. You would think that now that they have daughters they would think about the impact of this more."

Earlier this summer, a SKIMS campaign featuring iconic supermodels sparked a debate around whether photos of Tyra Banks were retouched.

Meanwhile, Kardashian herself was accused of editing another SKIMS commercial. Her younger sister Kendall Jenner also made headlines last February when a photo of her in a red SKIMS set went viral amid accusations of extreme editing.

Kardashian even deleted a bikini photo earlier this year when fans pointed out her right leg appeared significantly smaller than her left leg.
