What Kim Kardashian, Kanye West and Ray J Have Said About a Second Sex Tape

The Kardashians on Hulu is finally here and Episode 1 does not hold back from unleashing all of the drama surrounding the Kardashian-Jenner clan from the get-go. Titled, "Burn Them All to the F****** Ground," Episode 1 brings fans up to speed on everything that has happened since they ended Keeping Up With the Kardashians on E! and where they are now.

Kourtney is happily dating Travis Barker, Khloé is happily raising her daughter True as a single and independent woman, Kylie is pregnant with her second child to Travis Scott and Kendall is excelling in the modeling world.

As for the icon that is the unstoppable Kim Kardashian, she is going through her divorce with Kanye West, now known as Ye, when The Kardashians picks up.

Contrary to recent events—where Ye insulted Kim (now officially his ex-wife) in a series of Instagram posts — Kim and Ye appear to have a healthy relationship in Episode 1 and he is one of the first people she calls when rumors of a second sex tape start to circulate.

Fans of The Kardashians will know everything about Kim Kardashians' infamous sex tape with her then-boyfriend rapper Ray J. They briefly dated in 2005 and their sex tape was leaked in 2007 but in September 2021, her past came back to haunt her when there was a talk by Ray-J's former manager Wack 100 of a second sex tape.

At the end of The Kardashians Episode 1 Kim has everything under control, threatening to "burn them all to the f****** ground." Newsweek has a full recap of everything Kim, Ye, and Ray J have about the second tape, which Kim is adamant does not exist.

In Episode 1 of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kim's 6-year-old son Saint, saw a picture of Kim's infamous crying while playing the online game Roblox and showed it to her.

Kim was left shaken after realizing the image was related to reports of a second sex tape with Ray J.

Kim told The Kardashians' cameras: "The last thing I want as a mom is my past to be brought up 20 years later. This is really embarrassing and I need to deal with it. Had my son been a little bit older and been able to read, I would have been mortified. I died inside."

Later in the episode, Kim called Ye to tell him what had happened where she exclaimed: "'Saint was on Roblox yesterday, and a f**king thing popped up and he started laughing."

Holding back tears, she continued: "It was a picture of my cry face and it was a game someone made on Roblox. I almost died when Saint thought it was funny. Thank God he can't read yet.

"Over my dead body is this s*** going to happen to me again. I just want it gone. This is not going to f*** with me. I just want it gone."

Kim then recalled to the camera how the phone call with Ye helped the situation, sharing: "The one thing that got me more calm about it was when I was crying, Kanye was like, 'listen, you have the power, nothing will cancel you. Stop worrying about the public perception, you know who you are.'"

Towards the end of the episode, Kim is seen on the phone with her lawyer Marty Singer about the next steps they can take, stating: "I don't want it to be copied. I have four f****** kids. I can't go through this again. This was like 20 years ago. I'm not going to go through this again. I know the right attorneys this time. I know exactly what to do this time...I have all the time, all the money, and all of the resources to burn them all to the f*****g ground."

When Ray-J's manager Wack 100, claimed on the Bootleg Kev podcast that he had a copy of the sex tape and wanted to "gift" it to Kanye, Kim's lawyer Marty Singer shut down his claims, calling the rumors in a statement to US Weekly "unequivocally false."

He said: "The claim that there is an unreleased sex tape is unequivocally false. It is unfortunate that people make these statements to try and get their 15 minutes of fame."

Ye

In January 2022, in an interview with Hollywood Unlocked, Ye claimed he had received a copy of the second sex tape from Ray J and he had passed it on to Kim who apparently "cried" when she saw it.

He added: "You know why she cried when she seen it on the laptop? Because it represents how much she's been used. It represents how much people didn't love her and they just saw her as a commodity."

Both Kim and Ray J denied Ye's version of events, reported Stylecaster.com.

Kardashian's representatives told Page Six the footage Kim received was "unseen" footage of her and Ray J in Mexico together.

The statement said: "The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage. After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip. Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists.

"After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur, and advocate for justice reform."

Ray J

After Wack 100's claims in September 2021 surfaced, Ray-J said the rumors "ain't cool" in a comment under a clip from the podcast.

He continued: "I been staying off the Raydar—Just staying focused and being humble and thankful for all the blessings I'm receiving. How can I show growth and maturity if this kinda of stuff keeps happening? I'm a father now and my job is to be a great parent and put them first. This is not the message I want to send out—smh."

Ray J has two young children—Melody Love and Epik Ray—with his former wife Princess Love, who filed for divorce in May 2020.

After Ye's Hollywood Unlocked interview was published in January 2022, Ray J took to Twitter to ask for the rumors to stop.

He wrote: "This needs to stop. I also have kids."

The Kardashians airs Thursdays on Hulu and Disney+.
