Kourtney Kardashian's 'Odd' Video Puzzles Fans

The Kardashians are known for causing a stir online and Kourtney Kardashian's latest video has left fans perplexed.

The new promo clip for her vitamin and supplement brand Lemme sees the 44-year-old sitting in bed wearing satin pajamas. Posted to Instagram on Tuesday, the reality star strikes a match and lights a candle, before "ssshing" the camera.

"It's time to go to sleep," she whispers, before flipping through a book called 365 Bible Stories on her knee and slurping from a cup.

The socialite then grabs a jar of Lemme gummies from her bedside table, turning the label to show the camera.

Next, she pops a sleep mask with "Kourt" emblazoned across the front over her eyes. "Goodnight" she purrs into the microphone dangling from her bedroom ceiling, with the children's Bible still resting on her lap.

"Sweet dreams courtesy of @lemme sleep," Kardashian captioned the post.

Many fans were confused by the video, with user Isabelle asking: "Kourtney what the f*** is this?"

"What the hell girl!" commented Lena.

"This was odd," agreed @brittneymairexo.

"It's the 365 bible stories for me," said Nikki Ash.

"How are you about to read a book then put on an eye mask?" asked Jamie Tran.

"She has lost her mind," wrote @the.watcher672.

However, other fans couldn't get enough of the clip, praising the star's "unserious" attitude.

"She's trying so hard not to laugh," said Shelby Freeman.

"How am I supposed to sleep when this has me cracking [the f***] up," said @princeknorthstar.

"Pls never stop making these videos!" wrote Sheila Arman.

"I'm f****** dead," said Peyton Bucher. "I love this woman so goddamn much. WHY did I want her to read to me so badly."

Newsweek has reached out to Kourtney Kardashian for comment via Instagram.

Kourtney Kardashian isn't the only sibling to spark uproar with her Instagram content. In December, younger sister Khloe Kardashian faced fierce backlash on the social network after posting a video of her son.

The 39-year-old shares daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 18 months, with on-again-off-again boyfriend Tristian Thompson, with the couple reportedly splitting for good in June 2023.

The short clip showed Khloe Kardashian teaching Tatum how to clean the floor, praising him for a job well done. However, followers called the footage a "joke," refusing to believe that The Kardashians star cleans her own house.

Earlier this month, Kim Kardashian also came under fire on the site. The 43-year-old shared photos of herself in a Balenciaga puffer jacket, angering fans.

The Spanish luxury fashion house caused controversy with its 2022 Christmas campaign, which featured a child holding a stuffed animal dressed in what resembles bondage gear. The brand issued a swift apology, but has yet to fully shake off the aftermath.
