Lamar Odom reflected on his marriage to ex-wife Khloé Kardashian on his On the LO podcast.
The former Los Angeles Lakers player, 42, discussed his former relationship with The Kardashians star, 38, while chatting to co-host Tavorris Bell about Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's divorce.
"The fact that Tom Brady is getting divorced, like that's crazy," Bell said, noting that from the outside, the NFL quarterback's life looked "peachy."
"I wish I still had my wife, that's what I'm gonna say about that," Odom responded, before the streetball player, 44, exclaimed, "Khloé!"
"You feel me?" the New York native asked.
"That's what I think," Bell replied.
Odom recalled, "I had everything."
Bell said he "always thought Khloé was good for" Odom because "she's a Cancer and I'm a Cancer," he explained, referring to their astrology signs. "I understand that energy."
Brady and Bündchen announced their split on Friday, October 28, following breakup rumors. They each shared lengthy statements at the time, both noting their uncoupling was amicable.
"We arrived at this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together," Brady wrote. "We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve."
As for Bündchen, she shared a similar message. "With much gratitude for our time together, Tom and I have amicably finalized our divorce. My priority has always been and will continue to be our children whom I love with all my heart. We will continue co-parenting to give them the love, care and attention they greatly deserve."
Odom and Kardashian tied the knot in September 2009 after just one month of dating. Over the next four years, their life was documented on their E! reality show Khloé & Lamar, including buying a home and trying for children.
In 2013, however, Kardashian filed for divorce amid Odom's cycle of addiction that nearly resulted in death.
Odom was rushed to a Las Vegas hospital in 2015 after suffering an accidental drug overdose at a brothel. Kardashian briefly withdrew her pending divorce papers to take care of him.
"When I came out of the coma, she took care of me. I'm talking about a woman that wiped my backside when I couldn't do it myself," Odom told Us Weekly in February 2022. "So, I'm fond of her for that. She had a lot of dignity and pride as well as I did."
Ultimately, their divorce was finalized in December 2016, though Odom has always been complimentary about the Good American founder.
"I miss their family tremendously," Odom said on SiriusXM's Radio Andy in May 2021 of the Kar-Jenners. "We have to live with the decisions that we make and then, hopefully in time, people heal and [will] be able to forgive me."
