Lana Del Rey Snaps At Fan Who Said She Voted For Trump: 'Go F*** Yourself'

Lana Del Rey clapped back at a fan on Twitter who assumed she voted for Donald Trump and not Joe Biden in the election, telling her to "go f*** yourself."

The race for the White House is continuing with no winner in sight as the count carries on into Wednesday.

Vote counting is still ongoing in states where there are close races, including Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia and Nevada. Their electoral college votes are crucial for either candidate to get over the line.

President Trump insisted he is winning the state in the early hours of Wednesday, during a defiant press conference in which he prematurely claimed victory amid ongoing vote counts.

So needless to say, tensions are high and the "Blue Jeans" singer was not impressed when a fan presumed who she voted for in the tight race.

The singer, whose given name is Elizabeth Grant, did not hold back when interacting with a fan on social media today.

The fan initially tweeted: "I just KNOW Elizabeth voted for Trump, I wish I could look up her voting records. Something doesn't sit right with me."

To which Grant replied: "Go. F***. Yourself."

Clearly caught off guard by the blunt response, the fan further tweeted: "Lana telling me to go f*** myself when I have her tattooed on my arm lmfaoooo alright then."

Grant then added: "Nah read what u wrote h**."

The "Born to Die" hitmaker has not shied away from speaking her mind about politics in the past.

In 2018 she posted a comment on Kanye West's Instagram page saying: "Trump becoming our president was a loss for the country but your support of him is a loss for the culture."

Further eviscerating the presidential hopeful—who himself failed to get many votes today—she wrote: "I can only assume you relate to his personality on some level. Delusions of Grandeur, extreme issues with narcissism—none of which would be a talking point if we weren't speaking about the man leading our country.

"If you think it's alright to support someone who believes it's OK to grab a woman by the p**** just because he's famous-then you need an intervention as much as he does-something so many narcissists will never get because there just isn't enough help for the issue. Message sent with concern that will never be addressed." (via Cosmopolitan)

The singer made headlines earlier this year when she shared a lengthy Instagram post lashing out at "female writers and alt singers" and those who have criticized her music.
