Fox Nation host Lara Logan pushed an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory that Charles Darwin was funded by the Rothschild family to invent his theory of evolution during an appearance on a right-wing podcast.
Logan, a former correspondent for CBS' 60 Minutes, questioned what the origins of Darwinism are during an interview on And We Know, a conspiracy theorist show which has also promoted the radical movement QAnon, reported Media Matters for America.
"Does anyone know who employed Darwin, where Darwinism comes from?" Logan asked. "Look it up. The Rothschilds."
Logan went on to suggest that whoever employed Darwin to come up with his theory of evolution goes back to the top of the British government.
"It goes right back to 10 Downing Street, the same people who employed Darwin and that's when Darwin wrote his theory of evolution. I'm not saying that none of that is true. I'm just saying Darwin was hired by someone to come up with a theory, right?" Logan said.
"Based on evidence, okay, fine. But even the people, the scientists, all of the people who can take you back to the Big Bang, what is the one question they can never, ever, ever answer? They can never tell you what that was. Whether it is the molecules or the energy, or, you know, all that stuff."
The Rothschilds are a famous Jewish banking family turned business dynasty who are frequently linked to conspiracy theories and anti-Semitic tropes that Jews secretly control the world's media, banks and governments.
This is not the first time that Logan has expressed an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory or made comments offensive to Jewish people.
Logan has been sidelined by Fox News after she compared Dr. Anthony Fauci to infamous Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, who performed inhumane medical experiments on Jewish prisoners at the Auschwitz concentration camp.
During an appearance on Fox News' Primetime show in November 2021, Logan said people have told her that the top medical adviser to the White House "doesn't represent science to them" and instead represents the Nazi war criminal also known as the "Angel of Death."
"This is because the response from COVID, what it has done to countries everywhere, what it has done to civil liberties, the suicide rates, the poverty, it has obliterated economies," Logan told Fox host Pete Hegseth.
Following her remarks, Logan has not appeared back on Fox News, where she was a regular contributor. While never officially employed by the network, she did host a show on its streaming platform Fox Nation, Lara Logan Has No Agenda.
Logan was also dropped by her talent agency over the "highly offensive" and "unacceptable" comments she made about Fauci.
