South Point Casino Robbed at Gunpoint by Woman in Las Vegas

A manhunt is on to find the woman who robbed a Las Vegas casino at gunpoint before fleeing in a getaway car.

The robbery occurred around 7:38 p.m. on February 19 at the South Point Casino on Las Vegas Boulevard.

The suspect approached the casino cage with her face concealed by a scarf and demanded the cashier hand over the money after threatening her with the handgun.

The casino employee complied with the woman's demands and handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then fled the casino and escaped in a vehicle believed to be an older model two-door sedan. The vehicle was either brown or gold with a black roof and chrome rims on the wheels.

After the woman got into the vehicle, the car drove off in the direction of Silverado Ranch Boulevard, reported Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
