Is 'SNL' on Tonight? Watch Liev Schreiber Host 'Saturday Night Live'

Just when Saturday Night Live could use a fixer, Leiv Schreiber, who stars as the ultimate Hollywood cleanup guy of Showtime's Ray Donovan, is set to host the sketch comedy show on Saturday.

SNL faced a bit of backlash following Pete Davidson's joke about former Navy SEAL Dan Crenshaw's appearance on the last episode of the NBC show, and Davidson's castmate Kenan Thompson revealed SNL executives were handling the fall out internally. Considering all the experience Schreiber has helping Hollywood's elite cover up their scandals, his timing on the show couldn't have been better. Perhaps will Schreiber impersonate the South Boston thug to help some of the SNL cast out of a ditch.

Schreiber's appearance marks the actor's first time hosting the show. Check out everything you need to know about Schreiber's hosting-episode of SNL below.

Who's performing: Lil Wayne will hit the SNL stage for the first time in nearly eight years. The rapper appeared on the show three times—the last being in December 2010. Despite his long hiatus from SNL, Wayne seems to be ready to do more than just perform tracks off his recently released album, Tha Carter V. In a series of promo trailers for the upcoming segment of SNL, Wayne shows off his comedic chops with a hilarious impersonation of Schreiber, which has some fans wondering if he'll make a cameo in a sketch too.

When: Schreiber's set to host the show starting at SNL's usual timeslot at 11:30 p.m. ET.

Where: SNL will air on NBC.

Can it be live streamed: Viewers without TV can still catch Schreiber and Wayne on SNL via live stream. Using a cable provider login, the stream can be accessed on NBC's website or app. Folks with Hulu's Live TV subscription can watch the show in real time on the streaming platform while those with standard Hulu packages will be able to watch on-demand shortly after the show airs. As always, the best clips and highlights of the episode will be available for viewing on SNL's YouTube. Fans hoping to join in all the SNL banter can do so on social media by following the hashtag #SNL.
