Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho has been offered a way out of Anfield by Sam Allardyce's Crystal Palace, according to reports.

Jurgen Klopp, the Liverpool manager, has made it clear the French center-back does not feature in his plans on Merseyside. Sakho has not played for the club this season.

With Allardyce looking to guide Palace to Premier League safety, the former England manager is looking to take Sakho to Selhurst Park, according to the Daily Mail.

Sakho fell out with Klopp during Liverpool's pre-season tour of America after the German manager grew tired of his player's attitude to preparations ahead of the new season.
