'90 Day Fiancé' Star Loren Brovarnik's Surgery Update Sparks Backlash

90 Day Fiancé star Loren Brovarnik has faced backlash after sharing photos of her "mommy makeover" results online.

Brovarnik, 35, first appeared on season three of the show with her now-husband Alexei Brovarnik, whom she met during a birthright trip to Israel, where he worked as a medic before coming to the U.S. on a K-1 visa. The couple now have three children together, with the reality television couple welcoming a daughter, Ariel, in September 2022.

Loren Brovarnik had previously taken to Instagram to reveal that she was getting cosmetic surgery, which she'd wanted since her third pregnancy. It included repairing abdominal rectus diastasis, a condition where the abdominal muscles are separated by an abnormal distance that sometimes occurs during pregnancy.

Then on December 13, she posted a series of pictures to Instagram, just three months after going under the knife.

"Bikini szn. This is three months post surgery and no filter," she posted alongside a carousel of photos of her posing in a black bikini. "Recovering is going well and I'm beyond happy with my decision to go with @drdevvdo for my tummy tuck, 360 liposuction and a fat transfer."

Along with sharing photos of herself, the TLC personality posed with her doctor at his office, adding that she couldn't wait to see him at their next three-month check-up.

"Looking good babe!" Alexei Brovarnik said in the comment section. Meanwhile, fellow 90 Day Fiancé alum Anny Francisco wrote: "Girl, you look super good," alongside several fire emoji.

However, not everyone is impressed, as others have taken to the comment section to express their disappointment.

Newsweek reached out to Brovarnik's representative for comment via email Thursday.

"Why can't women just be happy with their bodies why do they have to run to plastic surgeons to look better. I guess they are not happy with themselves if they are not a size 10 or 12 they need to be a double zero or a 2 crazy," one person commented.

"Why do you feel the need to flaunt this all over? Of course you look great. Your kids go to daycare and you spent thousands on this. What happened to good old fashioned work to accomplish this? You need therapy!!" wrote another.

"Off course ur recovery is going well, ur kids spend all day, every day in day care ffs [for f*** sake]," said a third.

A fourth added: "Put your clothes on you're a mother."

Not all of the comments from strangers were nasty, as others pointed out how rude people were being towards Loren Brovarnik.

"Some of these comments are unbelievable. How cruel people are. Wow," one person commented.

"It blows my mind how many middle aged women are being downright nasty in the comments 😭😭😭 would y'all be this rude to a stranger in real life? Would you be proud if your kids acted the way you're acting?? It's giving jealous," someone else wrote.

In a previous post to her Instagram account, Loren Brovarnik explained she had decided to go the "natural" route with her surgery in a caption that was accompanied by a photo of her posing with her doctor.

"The day has finally come, I'm getting a natural mommy makeover. This is something I've wanted for a very long time and did a lot of research on, but it's a little different," she captioned the post.

"I was referred to @drdevvdo by a childhood friend because he specializes in doing it naturally. I have abdominal diastasis which is uncomfortable for me, so I've opted to do a tummy tuck to bring my muscles back together.

"We know I've been very open about wanting to enhance my breasts, so I am doing a 360 lipo and fat transfer to my boobs. Doing it [with] a more natural approach is the best way to go. Just like everything else, I'm beyond excited to share this journey with you."

Loren Brovarnik and her husband became breakout stars of 90 Day Fiancé. Along with Ariel, they are also parents to Shai Josef, three, and Asher Noah, two. The reality star went through a traumatic pregnancy with Ariel, who was born prematurely.
